Man arrested on outstanding warrant in Hackettstown also faces defiant trespassing charge
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A man arrested on an outstanding warrant is also facing a defiant trespassing charge in Hackettstown.
On Friday, Oct. 27, at around 12:16 p.m., police responded to the former Rite Aid, located at 203 Mountain Avenue, to make contact with Eric A. Zeier, 56, of Hackettstown, who had an active $1,000 Hackettstown Municipal Court criminal warrant for his arrest, police said.
Zeier was unable to post the bail and was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility, police said.
Zeier was charged with defiant trespassing after he was advised in the past that he didn’t have permission to be on the property, police said.
