Man breaks glass door at Hanover 7-Eleven after dispute over soda prices

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) An Essex County man who police say punched and broke a glass door window at a Hanover 7-Eleven after a dispute over soda prices has been charged.

On May 5, police responded to the 7-Eleven, located on Ridgedale Avenue, for a dispute. When police arrived, the officer observed the front door window to the store was broken, police said.

Through an investigation it was learned that a dispute started over soda prices and ended with Kevin Drury, 44, of West Orange punching the door and breaking the window, police said.

After police watched the surveillance video, Drury was charged with criminal mischief, simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was advised he will be contacted for his court date and was released, police said.
