Man charged 4 times at Hickory Hill Motel in Washington Township, Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) –  A Warren County man has been charged four times for allegedly maintaining a nuisance at the Hickory Hill Motel in Washington Township.

On May 21, at around 3:54 a.m., officers responded to a report of a dispute at the Hickory Hill Motel, located at 276 Route 31 North, in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Teresa Hagan, 59, of Phillipsburg, NJ was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Rodger Edwards, 54, of Washington was charged with disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Both were charged at the scene and released with a mandatory court date(s), police said.

Then on May 26, at around 9:46 p.m., police responded to a report of an abandoned 9-1-1 call at the motel. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Edwards was arrested and charged, police said.

Then on May 27, at around 2:23 p.m., police responded to a report of disorderly person knocking on doors and yelling at the motel. Edwards was again arrested and charged, police said.

Then on May 28, at around 5:08 p.m., police responded to a report of disorderly person at the motel. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Edwards was once again arrested and charged, police said.

Edwards was charged at the scene on each of those dates with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and released with a mandatory court date, police said.
