Man charged with burglary in Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Washington man is facing several charges for a burglary in Washington Township, police said.

William Lagarenne, 59, was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft of $5205.00 in movable property and criminal mischief.

On Jan. 2, at around 3:19 a.m., township officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Speedway, located at 323 Route 31 South in Washington Township, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and a subsequent investigation, Lagarenne was arrested and charged, police said.

Lagarenne was released with a mandatory court appearance as per bail reform, police said.
