Man charged with criminal trespassing in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man is accused of criminal trespassing in Readington Township.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, at around 9:45 p.m., police responded to a residence on County Route 620 for a burglary in progress, police said.

Upon arrival, the homeowner stated the suspect fled the residence and believed it was Harvey Marcello of Lebanon Borough, police said.

Then on Sunday, Sept. 24, at around 9:00 a.m., Marcello was located on Route 22 by the Clinton Township police and he was then turned over to the Readington Township police, authorities said.

Marcello was charged with criminal trespassing and lodged in the Warren County Jail, police said.
