Man charged with DWI after driving car without tire

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Pennsylvania man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police allegedly spotted him driving with a missing tire.

On March 24, at around 1:12 a.m., a township officer conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 300 block of Route 31 south in Washington Township for a vehicle driving without a tire, police said.

The officer’s investigation resulted in Zachary Price, 19, of Nazareth being arrested for DWI, police said.

Price was charged with disorderly conduct, careless driving, reckless driving, operation of motor vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage by someone under the legal age to consume alcohol, failure to report a motor vehicle accident, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, refusal to consent to taking of breath samples and driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
