Man charged with DWI after hitting parked car in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) –  Hackettstown Police say a Mansfield Township man was arrested on multiple charges after he crashed into a parked vehicle while intoxicated Sunday morning.

On Oct. 25, at around 4:22 a.m., police responded to Arthur Terrace for a report of a motor vehicle crash, police said.

Through a police investigation it was determined that Samuel Roff, 25, was driving a 2009 Kia when he struck a 2010 Dodge Ram which was parked alongside the roadway, police said.

Police determined that Roff was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Roff was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to exhibit insurance card. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
