Man charged with DWI following traffic stop in Readington Township

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A man is facing a driving while intoxicated charge following a traffic stop in Readington Township.

On March 30, at around 10:35 p.m., a township officer stopped Daniel Alles for speeding on Route 202 near Pleasant Run Road, police said.

Upon a further investigation, Alles was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.

Alles was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving. He was released pending a court appearance.
