Man charged with DWI in Morris County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Warren County man is facing charges including driving while intoxicated in Washington Township.

On September 14, at around 7:00 p.m., a police officer stopped a vehicle on East Avenue for a motor vehicle violation that occurred on Route 46 West, police said.

After a police investigation, the driver, who was only identified as a man from Washington Township, Warren County, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The vehicle was then towed to the Washington Township Police impound yard, police said.

The man was transported to police headquarters where he was charged and released pending a court appearance, police said.
