Man charged with sexual assault of 14-year-old girl in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – A Phillipsburg man has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Warren County, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Keith M. Rhinehart, 19, was arrested after a two week investigation conducted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the Phillipsburg Police Department, and the Belvidere Police Department, authorities said.

The investigation revealed that Rhinehart had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl, the prosecutor’s office said.

Rhinehart was charged with second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.

Rhinehart remains lodged in the Warren County Jail pending his first appearance in Warren County Superior Court.
