Man charged with stealing catalytic converters in Independence Twp.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A man is facing several charges after he allegedly stole catalytic converters, police said in a news release Wednesday.

On March 3, the Independence Township Detective Bureau conducted an investigation after several catalytic converters were reported stolen on Island Road, police said.

Jason Dockray, 40, was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of criminal trespassing, and two counts of theft.

Dockray was charged and released pending a court appearance.
