Man dies after suffering medical emergency, crashing in Sussex County
WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – An 89-year-old man died after suffering a medical emergency that caused him to crash in Sussex County Saturday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.
Troopers responded at 8:47 a.m. to a report of a motor vehicle accident at a residence on Phillip Terrace in Wantage Township, Curry said.
Upon arrival, troopers found an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was against a fence in a driveway and was pronounced dead, Curry said.
Troopers determined that the man suffered a medical emergency and the death was not attributed to the vehicle hitting the fence, Curry said.
