Man faces drug charges following traffic stop in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – An Essex County man is facing several charges including possession of heroin following a traffic stop Tuesday night in Denville Township.

On Nov.7, at around 10:16 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Route 46 after observing a vehicle fail to maintain its lane, police said.

During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver, who was identified as Domenick Zingale, 32, of Cedar Grove was observed attempting to discard suspected heroin, and was in possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Zingale was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering apprehension, failure to maintain lane, failure to possess a driver’s license, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

He was then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a future appearance, police said.
