Man faces DWI, drug charges after single-vehicle crash on I-80 in Warren County

FRELINGHUYSEN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The New Jersey State Police have arrested a Pennsylvania man after a motor vehicle crash led to the seizure of more than $2,000 worth of drugs and a driving while intoxicated charge.

On Friday, August 7, at 8:53 p.m., state police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Frelinghuysen Township, state police said.

While investigating at the scene, the trooper determined that Patrick Moore, 29, of Bushkill, PA was allegedly under the influence and arrested him for DWI. He was also found to be in possession of cocaine and heroin, state police said.

Moore was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminally under the influence, and DWI. He was released pending a court appearance, state police said.
