Man faces weapons charges in Washington Twp, Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man is facing several charges after he was allegedly being disorderly and in possession of a knife, police said in a news release this week.

Rodger Edwards, 54, of Washington, NJ was charged with for unlawful possession of a weapon (knife), possession of a weapon (knife) for an unlawful purpose, disorderly conduct and harassment.

On June 4, at around 10:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a disorderly person with a knife at the Hickory Hill Motel, located at 276 Route 31, in Washington Township, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Edwards was arrested and charged. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
