Man facing charges after allegedly committing lewd act in Washington Borough

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – A Passaic County man is facing charges after he allegedly committed a lewd act in Washington Borough, police said in a news release this week.

On June 10, at around 12:20 p.m., Washington Township police patrol responded to a report of a man in a silver vehicle committing a lewd act on Park Ave in Washington Borough, police said.

After a follow up investigation by the Washington Township Detective Bureau,Guillermo Reyes, 25, of Paterson, was charged on June 19 with endangering the welfare of a child, lewdness, and criminal sexual contact, police said.

Reyes was charged and released with a mandatory court appearance in accordance with bail reform, police said.
