Man killed after crashing into Freightliner parked on shoulder of I-78 in Warren County

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Pennsylvania man died early Tuesday morning after crashing into a Freightliner parked on the shoulder of Interstate 78 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at at around 4:13 a.m. on Interstate 78 eastbound at milepost 4.2, Greenwich Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Honda CRV, driven by Alejandro Reyes-Moya, 52, of Lebanon, struck the rear of a Freightliner pulling a utility trailer that was parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 78 eastbound, Marchan said.

As a result of the crash, Reyes-Moya suffered fatal injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Marchan said.
