Man pleads guilty to oxycodone, cocaine possession

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Morris County man has entered a guilty plea to possession of oxycodone and cocaine, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.

Timothy Garcia-Lyons , 23, of Dover pled guilty to two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on Dec. 19, Koch said.

In pleading guilty, Garcia-Lyons admitted to being in possession of oxycodone on June 27, 2019, in Hopatcong and possession of cocaine on June 28, 2019, in Newton, Koch said.

Garcia-Lyons is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 31, 2020.
