Man pleads guilty to possession of child pornography in Sussex County

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man has entered a guilty plea to possession of child phonography, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.

Chad J. Lloyd, 43, of Hopatcong Borough pled guilty to third-degree possession of child pornography before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on May 13, Koch said.

According to Koch, Lloyd admitted to possessing and uploaded child pornography to his Google Drive account.

Lloyd is scheduled to be sentenced on August 5 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.

Lloyd was represented by Daniel Agatino, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
