Man pleads guilty to stealing shopping cart full of Monster, Red Bull energy drinks

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – An Oak Ridge man has entered a guilty plea to shoplifting, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.

Marc Zona, 29, pled guilty to fourth-degree shoplifting before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley Jr., J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on Dec. 16, Koch said.

In pleading guilty, Zona admitted to illegally taking items from the Acme in Vernon Township, NJ, specifically a shopping cart full of Monster and Red Bull energy drinks, Koch said.

Zona is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 24, 2020.
