NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A New York man has entered a guilty plea to a theft charge, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.
Sabir Mandil, 37, of Hempstead pled guilty to fourth-degree theft on June 30 before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Taggart said.
Mandil admitted to using a credit card, which belonged to his former employer, to obtain services on his vehicle, Taggart said.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 28.
Mandil was represented by John S. Brady, Esq. and the State was represented by Special Deputy Attorney General and Acting Assistant Prosecutor Jonathan E. McMeen.
