LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Nebraska man is accused of posing as a teen and exchanged explicit messages with a 11-year-old girl in Lopatcong Township, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
In July of 2023, the Lopatcong Township Police Department initiated an investigation for endangering the welfare of a child. During the investigation, police acquired assistance from the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit, authorities said.
The investigation revealed that Daniel Boesch, 23, of Blair City was using Snapchat to communicate with an 11-year-old girl. Additionally, he was posing as a 13-year-old boy during those conversations, the prosecutor’s office said.
During these conversations, Boesch and victim exchanged explicit messages. He further threatened to post explicit images of the victim online, authorities said.

Several devices were seized during the execution of the search warrant. A post search warrant investigation revealed other non-related information which warranted the assistance of the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, authorities said.
