
Man seen stumbling into the road leads to arrest
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A 31-year-old Washington man was found with marijuana after police saw him stumbling into the roadway in Mansfield Township, police said.
On Oct. 2, at 4:25 p.m., an officer observed a man stumbling into the roadway several times behind the Mansfield Commons Mall. The officer made contact with the man, who was identified as Thomas Kline III, and detected the odor of marijuana, police said.
Kline had allegedly dropped a blunt he was smoking in the grass as the officer approached. He was also found to be in possession of alleged stolen merchandise from Kohl’s, police said.
Kline was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and then released. Kohl’s will notify the police department if they want to pursue charges, police said.
