Man steals Kit Kat bar from gas station, pepper sprays employee in Morris County

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole a Kit Kar bar and pepper sprayed an employee earlier this month in Hanover Township.

On May 15, an officer responded to the Lukoil on Route 10 for a reported robbery, police said.

Upon arrival, the officer was met by the victim who stated a white male wearing a white crop top, floral pants with a nose ring entered the store and took a Kit Kat bar and left without paying, police said.

The victim went outside to confront the man and he was then pepper sprayed, police said.

The man left the scene in a black sedan and headed west on Route 10, police said.

Police are continuing the investigation.
