Man struck by vehicle while snow-blowing his driveway in Byram Twp.

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A man was taken to a local hospital after he was hit by a car while snow-blowing his driveway.

On Jan. 18, township police responded to a report of a struck pedestrian on Lackawanna Drive, police said.

The investigation revealed that Christina Quinones, 33, of Byram Township had lost control of her vehicle on the snowy roadway. The vehicle then struck the pedestrian, who was snow-blowing his driveway and then crossed over the double yellow line and stopped on the other side of the roadway after it struck a parked vehicle, police said.

The injured pedestrian, whose name was not released, was transported to Morristown Medical Center by Lakeland Emergency Squad, police said.

Quinones was not issued any summonses at the scene.
