Man struck, killed by NJ Transit train in Hunterdon County

LEBANON, NJ (Hunterdon County) -A man was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train in Lebanon Monday morning.

It happened around 5:15 a.m. east of the Lebanon Station. The train involved was headed to High Bridge on the Raritan Valley line, NJ Transit Spokesman Jim Smith said.

The identity of the adult man was not released.

Officials say there were no passengers on board and the crew was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
