Man twice steals from Sussex County ShopRite

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A man has been charged after he allegedly shoplifted twice from the ShopRite in Byram Township.

On Feb. 23, police responded to ShopRite for a report of shoplifting incidents that had recently occurred. The investigation revealed that John Leonardi had shoplifted on at least two separate occasions, police said.

Leonardi responded to the Byram Township Police Department on March 1 where he was charged with two counts of shoplifting. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
