Man wanted out of Florida arrested after traffic stop in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County)A Sussex County man wanted out of Florida was arrested by Denville Police after a traffic stop Sunday, according to police.

On Feb. 19, an officer stopped a vehicle on North Ridge Road after observing the vehicle turn without signaling, police said,

While officers were speaking with the driver, who was identified as Adam Hassan, 41, of Stanhope Borough, it was discovered he was a wanted person out of the Miami-Dade Police Department for felony obstructing police, authorities said.

Hassan was arrested and then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending extradition to Florida.
