Man’s body found in wooded area in Dover

DOVER, NJ (Morris County) – A body was found Friday in a wooded area of West Clinton St in Dover, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.

Authorities received information regarding a deceased man in a wooded area near a cul-de-sac at the end of West Clinton Street, which is in close proximity to a homeless campsite, Knapp said.

An autopsy was performed by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause and manner of death are pending, Knapp said.

“The investigation remains ongoing and the identity of the individual will not be released at this time,” Knapp said.
