Mansfield Police find pot brownies during traffic stop

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Sussex County man was caught with pot brownies during a traffic stop in Mansfield Township, police said.

On Sept. 22, at 11:14 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for equipment violations and during the course of the stop, police found over 50 grams of marijuana baked into brownies packaged to sell, police said.

Nicholas DeLoreto, 18, of Newton was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, failure to inspect and improper display of front plate, police said.

DeLoreto was released pending a court appearance.
