Mega Millions ticket worth $10K sold in Morris County

Mega Millions Jackpot Rolls to $1,050,000,000

NEW JERSEY  There were four third-tier prize winning tickets sold for the Friday, July 28, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize

Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:

  • Morris County: Garden State News, 43 Main St., Madison.
  • Ocean County: Country Farms #2, 380 Drum Point Rd., Brick.
  • Passaic County: Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt.
  • Union County: Quick Chek #23, 186 Westfield Ave.

The winning numbers for the Friday, July 28, drawing were: 05, 10, 28, 52 and 63. The Gold Mega Ball was 18 and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

In addition to the third-tier prizes won, 91 players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Seven of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,500.  Moreover, 158,600 other New Jersey players took home $836,868 in prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000.

The jackpot rolls to $1.05 billion for the next drawing to be held on Tuesday, August 1, at 11:00 p.m. All
New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 p.m. to participate in the
drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost just two dollars; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar
per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold
in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
