Mega Millions tickets worth $10K sold in Morris and Middlesex Counties
Mega Millions Jackpot Rolls to $565,000,000
NEW JERSEY – There were two third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Friday, December 23, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.
Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:
- Middlesex County: Colonia Deli & Grill, located at 440 Lake Ave., in Colonia.
- Morris County: Krauszer’s, located at 45 North Warren St., in Dover.
The winning numbers for the Friday, December 23, drawing were: 15, 21, 32, 38, and 62. The Gold Mega Ball was 08, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.
In addition to the third-tier prizes won, 44 players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Four of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $2,000. Moreover, 69,663 other New Jersey players took home $333,954 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800.
The jackpot rolls to $565 million for the next drawing to be held on Tuesday, December 27, at 11:00 p.m. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 pm to participate in the drawing. Mega Millions tickets cost just two dollars; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
