Milling, paving work begins Wednesday on Mountain Ave in Hackettstown

UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather on Wednesday, the road work will be done on Thursday, Aug. 8 and Friday, Aug. 9.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) — Beginning Wednesday, milling and paving will take place on Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown.

The work will be done between Route 46 and Route 57 from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m on Wednesday, Aug. 7 and Thursday, Aug. 8, police said.

Motorists will be able to access businesses and residences in the work zone, police said.

Police officers will be on site to assist with traffic control, however delays and temporary road closures should be expected.

All work is weather dependent, police said.
