Missing Hunterdon County man’s body found in Crosswicks Creek in Bordentown Township

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Burlington County) – The body of a man previously reported missing from Hunterdon County was recovered from Crosswicks Creek in Bordentown Township, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Alejandro Goez said.

Craig Czarnecki, 53, of Frenchtown, left his residence on foot on Saturday, Feb. 19, at around 6:30 p.m. and New Jersey State Police previously asked for the public’s help in locating him.

A bystander found his body floating in the Crosswicks Creek in Bordentown Township on Saturday, March 24 at 4:13 p.m., Goez said.

The cause of death remains under investigation by the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office, Goez said.
