More daytime weekday lane closures scheduled for Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’ April 3-7

The schedule of lane closures for architectural lighting installation work at the Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” for the week of April 2 is as follows:

  • Monday and Tuesday: Downstream New Jersey-bound lane closure 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday to Friday: Upstream Pennsylvania-bound lane closure 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Single lane travel in each direction will be maintained whenever a lane closure is in effect at the three-lane bridge, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Any travel impacts should be minor as a left turn lane is expected to remain available at the bridge’s Easton side during lane-closure periods, the commission said.
