
Morris County Correctional Facility receives high honors for medical services
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Top administrators at the Morris County Correctional Facility announced that once again the facility received high honors following an audit conducted by the National Commission on Correctional Health care (NCCHC}; an independent non-profit organization dedicated to improving the standard of care in the field of correctional health care in the Unites States.
Following the two-day inspection of the correctional facility, accreditors were utterly impressed as they determined the Morris County Correctional Facility was in 100% compliance of both “Essential” and “Important” standards of care, Sheriff James M. Gannon said.
“I can’t soy enough about the Morris County Correctional Facility and to the dedication of the staff that make the facility one of the best in the county. I om equally proud to soy that the Morris County Sheriffs Office is one of less than 100 Sheriffs Offices in the United States that hos received “Triple Crown Status.” This award is presented to low enforcement agencies that hove received professional accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Low Enforcement (CALEA), the American Correctional Association {ACA), and the Notional Commission on Correctional Health Core {NCCHC),” Gannon said.
