
Morris County man, 52, charged with distribution and possession of child porn
MADISON BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man has been charged after he allegedly used his cellphone to posses and distribute images of child porn, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said Thursday.
Nicholas Spagnoletti, 52, of Madison Borough has been charged with one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of children for the distribution of child pornography, and one count third-degree endangering the welfare of children for the possession of child pornography, Carroll said.
It is alleged that between April 15, 2021 and August 12, 2021, Spagnoletti utilized his personal cell-phone to upload, possess and distribute images of child pornography, Carroll said.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was first alerted to the upload by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Carroll said.
Spagnoletti was lodged in he Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance scheduled for August 13, Carroll said.
