
Morris County man accused of stalking woman, peering in her bedroom window
WHARTON BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man has been arrested after he allegedly stalked a female acquaintance and peered through her bedroom window while she was changing, according to Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.
Luis Rodriguez-Ponce, 29, of Rockaway Township has been charged with fourth-degree invasion of privacy, fourth-degree peering into dwelling places, and fourth-degree stalking.
It’s alleged that between December 1, 2020 and January 9, 2021,Rodriguez-Ponce stalked a female acquaintance, sent her harassing communications, and followed her back to her home on several occasions, Carroll said.
Rodriguez-Ponce also allegedly peered into her bedroom window as she was changing her clothes, Carroll said.
Rodriguez-Ponce was charged and is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility in accordance with Criminal Justice Reform.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit and the Wharton Police Department investigated the incident.
