Morris County Prosecutor’s Office participates in career day at Grace Wilday Jr. High School

ROSELLE BOROUGH, NJ (Union County) – Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sgt. Patrick LaGuerre Thursday joined local students at Grace Wilday Jr. High School in Roselle Borough for a career development day. Close to 100 students and staff joined the presentation both virtually and in person.

Sgt. LaGuerre spoke with the students for two and a half hours, during which time he discussed the various career paths available in law enforcement, proper use of social media and participated in a question and answer session.

“The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office continues to work with all levels of the education system to reach out and potentially inspire the next generation of law enforcement,” acting Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher.
