DENVILLE, NEW JERSEY (Morris County) – Morris County Vocational School District has announced that Gauri Kshirsagar has been selected to be featured on the cover of the 2019-2020 DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) Guide.

Gauri is a senior in the Academy for Finance and International Business at the Morris County School of Technology (MCST) in Denville. Last April, she became the only New Jersey student to win a first place trophy at the DECA nationals. The event that she competed in was for Retail Merchandising.

The DECA Guide provides all of the information and tools, used by DECA advisors, around the globe, to prepare students for DECA events.

Each year, approximately 200,000 high school students participate in DECA events. The competitions are set to replicate real-life business and marketing scenarios and test academic understanding and skills development.
