Morris County woman arrested for DWI with child in the car

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman was arrested after police said she drove drunk with a child in her car over the weekend in Denville Township.

On July 16, at around 11:05 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 West. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Stephanie Aguilar, 26, of Dover, was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and had a juvenile passenger, police said.

Aguilar was arrested and transported to Denville Police Headquarters. The juvenile passenger was turned over to a family member at the scene, police said.

Aguilar was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, unsafe lane change, improper passing, and driving while intoxicated with juvenile passenger. She was released pending a court appearance.
