
Morris County woman facing several drug charges
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is facing several drug charges after police found prescription drugs that did not belong to her inside her bungalow, according to Mount Olive police.
On July 13, at 11:11 a.m., an officer responded to a bungalow in Kennedy’s Motel, located on Route 46, for a report of harassing text messages. Upon arrival, the officer met with Amal Buechler, 46, of Succasunna who provided him with the context of the messages referencing her prescribed medications, police said.
During the course of the investigation, Buechler provided the officer with consent to enter and search her bungalow for her prescription legend drugs. The officer located prescription drugs that did not belong to her and various drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters, police said.
Buechler was charged with possession of prescription legend drug Tizanidine Hydrochloride, possession of PLD Sumatriptan Succinate, possession of PLD Diclofenac Sodium, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
