Morris Plains resident bit by fox, police say

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (Morris County) — A Morris Plains resident was bitten by a fox Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The attacked happened on Brook Drive South. Police have also received reports of individuals seeing a sick animal in the surrounding area, police said.

The condition of the resident was not released.

Fish and Game representatives responded to assist with tracking of the animal, police said.

Residents are asked to report any sightings to the police department at 973-538-2284 and be cautious while outdoors.
