Mosquito spraying set for Friday morning in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Florham Park Borough, East Hanover Township, Hanover Township, and Rockaway Friday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 23, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Florham Park: Off Columbia Turnpike (Airport woods).
- East Hanover: Off Columbia Turnpike (Airport woods).
- Hanover: Valley Forge Drive (Airport woods).
- Rockaway: Durham Road (Camp Marcella), and Upper Hibernia Road (Camp Lewis) (5:00 a.m. start).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329.
