MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Rockaway, Montville Township, Lincoln Park Borough, and Parsippany-Troy Hills Monday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Rockaway: Upper Hibernia Rd (Camp Lewis Boy Scout Camp), and Timberbrook Rd (Camp Winnebago).
- Montville Township: Rachel Terrace (Rachel Gardens woods).
- Lincoln Park Borough: Gettysburg Way, Robertson Way.
- Parsippany-Troy Hills: Elm Ave, and Old Bloomfield Ave. (Elm Ave Park)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Montville Township, and Lincoln Park Borough Monday night.

- Montville Township: Valley View Rd, Rachel Terrace, Beverly Dr, Midvale Ave, Douglas Dr, Willard Ln, Pine Brook Rd, Mary Dr, Sunrise Way, Crest Terrace, Longview Dr, Nicholas St, White Oak Ln, Woodshire Terrace, Peace Valley Rd, Two Bridges Rd, Weldon Place, Clay Dr, Coppola Ct, Jotham Rd, Craig Ct, Eberhardt Ct, Stephen Dr, Maple Ave, Adamary Pl, Maple Ln, Marts Ln, Spruce Ln, Tamarack Ln, Roe-Ri Rd, William St, Mary Ave, Foremost Mountain Rd, Hook Mountain Rd, Lee Ct, Underwood Rd, Westminster Dr, York St, Montgomery Ave, Passaic Valley Rd, Windsor Dr, Sylvan Dr, Tudor Pl, Stuart Ct, Hamilton Pl, Pellington Ct, Sherwin Terrace, Michelle Way, Duryea Pl, Boyletown Rd, Salter Dr, Gaines Rd, Fox Hollow Rd, Rochon Rd, Jacobus Ln, Pomona Ave, and Morris Place.
