Mosquito spraying set for Monday night in Denville and Mountain Lakes
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in a section of Denville Township, and Mountain Lakes Borough Monday night.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Denville: Garwood Trail, Lakewood Trail, Mosswood Trail, Basswood Dr, Ridgewood Parkway East, Ridgeway Parkway West, Laurelwood Trail, Willow Dr, Rainbow Trail, Crestwood, Lakewood Dr, Fernwood Trail, Woodland Ave, Elm St, Maywood Ave, Hornbeck Rd, Walnut St, Arden Rd, Roberts Dr, and Running Brook Ct.
- Mountain Lakes: West Shore Rd, Sunset Rd, Crystal Rd, Overlook Rd, East Shore Rd, North Crane, Pocono Road, Arden Rd, and Roberts Rd.
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
