Mosquito spraying set for Thursday in Montville Township and Lincoln Park Borough

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be treating sections of Lincoln Park Borough, and Montville Township on Thursday.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, weather permitting, the commission said.

An All-Terrain Vehicle will be used to treat the following woods and floodplains:

  • Lincoln Park: Brooklake Road (Fish Tract)

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329, Pesticide Applicator Number 20262B.

Additionally, mosquito spraying will go on from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, weather permitting, using a truck mounted sprayer to treat the following streets:

  • Montville: Avalon Dr, Arthur Pl, Crane Dr, Hilldale Rd, Gathering Rd, Lisa Pl, Collard Ln, Crescent Rd, Parkway Dr, Walnut Dr, Konner Ave (below Gathering Rd), Manchester Way, Leeds Ave, Buckingham Cir, Lancaster Ave, Normandy Rd, Sheffield St, Oak Ln, Bogert Rd (below Woodmont), Highview Ct, Cloud Dr, Douglas Rd, Harold Terr, Robert Rd, Mary Dr, Weiss Dr, Audrey Pl, Toby Terr, Cliff Rd, Woodshire Terr, Nathan Dr, Ashley Pl, Doremus Dr, Jaromek Dr, Smock Ct, Turner Ln, Holbrook Ct, Van Dyne Ct, Evergreen Ct, Wood Hill Rd, Adams Way, Selito Way, Peace Valley Rd, Beverly Dr, Midvale Ave, Longview Dr, Willard Ln, Nicholas St, Weldon Pl, Sunrise Way, Green Ridge Dr.
