Mosquito spraying set for tonight in 3 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat a section of streets in Parsippany, Florham Park, and Lincoln Park tonight.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, weather permitting, the commission said.

The following area is scheduled to be treated:

  • Parsippany-Troy Hills: Parsippany Blvd,  Bell Rd, Wood Glen Way, Redgate Rd West, Todd Rd, Thomson Road,  Dogwood Lane.
  • Florham Park: Sterling Drive, Schindler Drive, Sunvalley Way.
  • Lincoln Park: Pearson St, Foothill Dr, Highland St, Morris Ave, Homestead Ln, Harvest Ln, Branch Pl, Paine Pl, Ferndale Ln, Spring Grove, Hunter Rd, Sylvan Park,  Ryan Ln, Christopher Ct, Erin Way, Kerri Ln, Kevin Rd, Jeremy Ct, Robertson Way, Gettysburg Rd, Toms Point Ln.

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B
