Mosquito spraying set for tonight in Montville and Lincoln Park
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in a section of Motville Township, and Lincoln Park Borough tonight.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Montville: Rachel Gardens, Rathbun Rd, Twins Ct, Heritage Ct, Washington Ct, Waughaw Rd, Park Ave, Duynecrest Dr, Indian Ln, Indian Ln East, Bellows Ln, Benefly Rd, Alpine Rd, Gunthers View, Miller Ln, Rosewood Ave, Campagna Ln, Lorraine Drive, East Cheryl, Peace Valley Road, Club Drive, Hathaway Lane, Olympia, Hillcrest, Indian Hill Rd, Brook Ln, Old Jacksonville Rd, Jacksonville Rd, Osborne Place, Rose Court, Main Rd (sections of 202), Bonnie Lane, Schneider Ln, Baldwin Ct, Old Farm Ct, Woodland Rd, Orchard Dr, Maple Ave, Marts Rd, Roe-Ri Rd, William St, Mary Ave, Hook Mountain Rd, Effingham Low Ct, Pine Brook Rd, Clay Dr, Weldon Place, Nicholas St, Willard Rd, Longview, Beverly, Midvale, and Two Bridges Rd.
- Lincoln Park: Toms Point Rd, Gettysburg, Robertson, Noelle Ct, Stonyridge Dr, Pine Brook Rd, Alpine Dr, Skyline Dr, Kerri Lane, Christopher Ct, Erin Way, and Ryan Ln.
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
