MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Rockaway, and Montville Township, and Boonton Wednesday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on July 12, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Rockaway: West Main St (Donatoni Park).
- Montville: Horseneck Road (Amphitheater), and Rachel Terrace (Rachel Gardens).
- Boonton: West Main St, and Essex Ave (Grace Lord Park).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724.
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Parsippany-Troy Hills, Lincoln Park Borough, Montville Township, and East Hanover Township Wednesday night.

- Parsippany-Troy Hills: Highview Road, Oakland Court, Willowcrest Rd, Foxcroft Rd, Long Rd, Old Foxhill Rd, Oakdale Rd, Maple Ln, Upper Rainbow Trail, Roberts Ln, Scenic Dr, Clairview Rd, Spur Rd, and Rustic Way.
- Lincoln Park: Robertson Way, Gettysburg Way, Toms Point Way, Two Bridges Rd, and Pinebrook Rd.
- Montville: Pine Brook Rd, Peace Valley Rd, Cole Ave, Willard Ln, Nicholas St, Weldon Pl, Longview Rd, Beverly Dr, Longview Rd, Midvale Ave, Maple Ave, Marts Ln, William Pl, Mary Ave, Roe Ri Rd, Tamarack Ln, Spruce Ln, Effingham Low Ct, Hook Mountain Rd, Horseneck Rd, Coppola Ct, Clay Dr, Chapin Rd, Rachel Terrace, White Oak Ln, Eberhardt Ct, Barney Ln, Stephen Dr, Crest Terrace, Tara Ln, Jotham Rd, and Green Ridge Dr.
